Philippe Moretto is a free lance entomologist studying African Scarabaeinae for the past 20 years, with special focus on Onthophagini.
Philippe has acquired a good experience in the field through 17 field trips in Africa, mostly in West Africa and constituted a large reference-collection including more than 1500 species of african Scarabaeinae.
He is member, among others, of the " Société entomologique de France " since 1975 and of the " Société d'Entomologie Africaine " since 1997.
He has published, alone or in cooperation with other specialists, several papers on african Scarabaeinae.
